USS Missouri BB63  22 June 1998  coming in to Pearl Harbor after leaving  Bremerton WA. There are photos at bottom of page too. Vern was aboard the Missouri in 1954 while it was in Norfolk, to visit Lyle Birkholz from his home town. This ship is a remnant of WWII and he saw it before it was modernized. One item he remembers is they still used a trough instead of stools in the head.
