Two
maintenance guys were ground taxiing a Northwest BAC-146 from the
hanger
to a gate. On the way, the voice recorder captures one guy saying if
they
go a little faster they could get the nose off the ground. They were
unaware
that the auto throttles were in Take-Off mode (from there actions) as
they
approached the gate, they found they had no brakes (a result evidently
on being in the Takeoff mode) and proceeded to slam through the jet
way.
Both the aircraft and Jetway appeared to be totaled. Jobs down the tube?
